Sump & Sewage System
Albany Water Systems is currently supplying a combination of simplex and duplex sump and sewage pump systems for the 300 Bloor Street mixed-use high-rise development in Toronto, Ontario. The systems are designed to manage both stormwater and sanitary discharge from the underground parking and building service areas, providing dependable operation and protection against flooding during peak conditions.
System Overview
- Simplex and duplex submersible pump packages, configured to handle both stormwater and sewage applications
- Automatic level control with float switches and alternation logic for duplex sets
- Heavy-duty basins with guide rail systems, quick-disconnect fittings, and sealed covers for maintenance safety
- UL/ULC-listed control panels with Hand-Off-Auto operation, overload protection, visual/audible alarms, and BAS-compatible dry contacts
- Check and isolation valves pre-piped on common discharge headers for simplified installation
- Aluminum access hatches supplied for all sump and sewage pits, providing secure and durable entry for inspection and service
- Factory-assembled and tested systems for quick on-site connection and reliable performance
Once commissioned, these systems will provide automatic, low-maintenance drainage and sewage handling for the building’s below-grade levels, ensuring long-term reliability and code compliance. This project reinforces Albany Water Systems’ position as a leader in engineered sump and sewage solutions, delivering safe, efficient, and fully integrated packages for high-rise and mixed-use developments across Canada.
