Sump & Sewage System

In 2023, Albany Water Systems engineered and supplied a complete sump and sewage pump system for the Lakeview DXE Club development in Mississauga, Ontario. This system was designed to provide efficient stormwater and wastewater management for the project’s multi level underground parking and service areas, ensuring safe, automatic, and maintenance-friendly operation.

System Overview

• Duplex submersible sewage pump package with automatic alternation and overload protection
• Simplex sump pump package for stormwater drainage and groundwater removal
• Heavy-duty fiberglass basins with guide rail assemblies, quick-disconnect fittings, and sealed lids
• UL/ULC-listed control panels with Hand-Off-Auto switches, visual/audible alarms, and dry contacts for BAS integration
• Check and isolation valves mounted on discharge piping for ease of maintenance
• Aluminum access hatches supplied for each pit, providing secure and durable access for inspection
• Factory-assembled, pre-tested systems for fast site installation and startup reliability

Performance & Functionality

The system ensures continuous and reliable operation under all conditions. Pump alternation logic balances runtime between units, while float-based level controls and high-level alarms provide early warning and redundancy for flood prevention.
