Sump & Sewage System

Albany Water Systems is currently engineering and supplying a sump and sewage pump system for the PTC-1 development in Toronto, Ontario. The system is designed to provide automatic removal of stormwater and wastewater from the underground levels of the building, ensuring consistent operation and full protection against flooding.

System Overview

• Duplex submersible sewage pump package with automatic alternation and level control
• Simplex sump pump package for foundation and stormwater drainage
• Heavy-duty basins complete with guide rail assemblies, quick-disconnect fittings, and sealed covers
• UL/ULC-listed control panels with Hand-Off-Auto selector switches, overload protection, and visual/audible alarms
• Dry alarm contacts for integration with the building’s BAS
• Check and isolation valves on each discharge line for easy service access
• Aluminum access hatches supplied for all sump and sewage pits, providing secure entry and clean aesthetics
• Factory-assembled and fully tested systems for quick installation and reliable field operation

Once commissioned, the system will deliver trouble-free, automatic drainage performance, protecting the building’s below-grade areas from flooding and ensuring long-term reliability.
